I had to flip my C65 Trident because of that hinge always pulling hairs. CW gets plenty YouTube paid promotion hype. Somehow they fail to mention all of the issues you do. Great watch but the cool looking bracelet SUCKS.
Fred Bernhardt Amos was an inspiration and one of the Good Guys. Sadly I've been around long enough on the watch forums to loose a lot of good people. Chuck Maddox the Speedy Guru, Noah Fuller the original Seiko mod expert, JJ Irani from the Rolex forum and the terrible end of Reto Castellazzi from PMWF. I have owned a 5 digit Sub Date since 2007. Just got the 36mm Explorer and cannot say enough about how much I like it even though I already have a black lacquer dial sports watch. Go EXP!
Always admired your Bond Seiko. A friend in South Africa's Dad got him one in Singapore around 1982. Only difference was Sports 100 not Silver Wave. Could never find one in Durban so settled for a Running Man.
