To be honest nothing… I love this piece and the newer version might look the same but is a bit thicker and doesn’t have the AP logo on the dial. To me this is the perfect modern AP Royal Oak Chrono😁

Agreed 100%. I’ve been looking into getting my first AP and really liked the entry level Selfwinding, but it’s a bummer that it doesn’t have the AP logo. Now I’m looking at the jumbo (which does have the AP logo), but from what I hear, that one is impossible to get if you don’t have a purchase history with them.

The AP is a special watch and jumbo even more special. Super thin and elegant. The AP logo definitely adds that extra special look and feeling to the dial👍 I can see that without the logo the dial looks more open but at the same time it’s missing something special I feel
