Best daily GMT?

I'm searching for a GMT to be a daily, that i can travel with, durable, under the radar, for working and for going for a hike. I have this principal 2 options, let me know your thoughts.

There is nothing "under the radar" about a Rolex...

I chose the Explorer 2 until you said under the radar, lol. However, I kept my vote as is… I think the Exp2 doesn’t get identified as a Rolex by normies, in most cases, so you may want to just go all the way and get one. But if you are concerned about theft at all you probably want a blacked out watch or a g shock, honestly.

The Tudor is too thick. It’s incredibly annoying. I’m convinced Tudor is doing this on purpose just so they have something they can improve on for the next iteration.

That's true, although I think the explorer 2 is the most "Under the radar" rolex, but in this comparison I think that's an argument for going for the tudor

I like out the Ball Outliers look if you're looking for a travel GMT. It definitely takes inspiration from the Explorer II so if you like the look...

I have the marvelight which I dropped onto a tile floor from about 3' up, no issues.

and all the miyota 9075 microbrand pieces too.

Farer Lander or Longines Spirit Zulu.

checkout the traska venturer, true traveler GMT, hardened case and bracelet, on the fly adjustment and slimmer than the ones you mentioned. under the radar and inexpensive enough to not have to worry (subjective but saying that based on the price of the two you listed)

·

I personally am 'boycotting ' Rolex so I chose the Tudor

Voted for the Explorer II, but I am not sure if it is „under the radar“.

·

Could it be worth it to have a less under the radar watch but a less thicker watch too?

·

I voted Tudor - but the Seiko 200mm GMT and Casio Promaster GMT or Worldtimer options (JDM/Quartz) offer more below the radar, durable, yet fashionable options for travel at lower pricepoints.

I would not worry about using the Tudor GMT as a daily - great watch. Would try on first - as its size dimensions are not for everyone.

Is the thickness of the tudor that annoying?? 😕

Perhaps I'm biased, but I am selling a Grand Seiko SBGM247. It's a nice daily GMT.

I'm also partial to the Longines Spirit Zulu Timer.

·

I think any of the Grand Seiko GMTs are going to be a good bet

That's a beautiful watch. Explorer II + green dial and GS stylings = 👌

Sinn 856 UTC. Highly durable. Under the radar. Beautiful, yet unpretentious!

Longines Zulu time or GS GMT are also great ones.

Omega seems the obvious alternative. For me, Tudor would never be my choice.
