Wheels & Watches

Wheels & Watches event at Podium Café Newbury.

A car meet crossed with a watch event. Some amazing machines parked up. It was a cold morning, so having watches to share over coffee to warm up was a perfect overlap.

This Octagonal Santos was good fun. The bracelet articulates more than I’d assumed it would. It fit me quite well. This was another attendee’s Cartier. Hamish (watch collectors’ club co-founder) delivered his ‘how to look at a watch’ talk and this was the beautiful watch swapped with the person next to me.

I brought my Tudor and so did Ed and Sam! They brought their Pelagos LHD and Ranger. We didn’t plan it but it shows the breadth of range that Tudor still manage to capture with the sport watch category. They’re 3 fairly distinct designs to me whilst all being Tudors.

Some bonus car content! My first passenger experience in a Porsche. The Taycan is one impressive car.
