Getting closer to a decision
So I went to an AD on Wednesday and took a look at this beauty. Looks even better in person. It truly glitters. I thought perhaps the bling was coming from the high intensity interior lighting and commented as such. The saleswoman suggested I take it outside in the shade. I did so and still this watch absolutely shows itself off on the wrist. The rubber strap is very comfortable. Wife is panicking. She knows every time I change the Lock Screen on my phone to a photo of her it can only mean that I am soften her up. It’s like a mob shit. Make comfortable, order the veal (it’s the best in the city) and then go in for the kill. 😊

My question is how well will dial color age? I tend to be a bit conservative on colors. Before I finally make a move I will look at some other colors just to make sure.

Definitely a fair point to consider. I didn’t know you were considering other ones. And I do know what you mean about dial fatigue
I think that’s why I love my white one so much. But I did try on the lighter blue one on rubber and I loved it

Not dial fatigue. More like how will the dial age. Will it look dated 10 years from now or will it have a classic look to it. I know with black for instance the look will stand the test of time yet I really don’t want another black dial watch. Regarding your photo, I will look at that color also? Just seems a bit too powdery blue for me.

41mm. The 38 dial has sunburst look to it.

yeah that was my impression of this one before I saw it live. Gives me more of a dove grey vibe. But I would also call it a "summer watch", so maybe not absolutely versatile considering that yes, the seconds hand it light blue.
