Seiko Pogue 6139
Today I'm sporting the Seiko Pogue Ref. 6139-6002. The watch gets its nickname from astronaut William Pogue, who wore this watch during the 1973 Skylab 4 mission. Durable and precise even in space, this automatic chronograph has a legacy that few can attest.

A. It'd be too expensive with a mechanical Chrono movement
B. Modern Seiko QC stinks
C. Purists would howl

Yes, absolutely they should bring it back, or at least a close tribute. The new 55th anniversary Seiko 5 is close in shape, but smaller and less sharp, crisp. Good start for a homage tho, certainly more appropriate for the Speedtimer name the the awful new Seikona's 🤔👍🏻

Had my 2014 SM300 serviced by them , they posted the magazine to me a couple of months later. It's excellent, I've bought a few older ones from eBay since.
