NWA Timex T-series chronograph

I was idly looking through eBay for Timex Scout chronographs, when I came across this one listed simply as "Timex Expedition Chronograph". It was different than the other chronos from Timex, and the price was good, so after sleeping on it, I decided to order it.

I did a search of the internet, and after poring over hundreds of images and reading watch forum info, I found an image that matched and a ref #. This is ref#: T2M468

It sems like these were a bit nicer than the run-of-the-mill Timexes in the early 2000s.

This one shows little signs of wear with a clean crystal and only minor scuffs on the case. I really like the cream colored dial and the simple, dark hands.

I was a bit worried as after I ordered this and it was on its way, the seller listed a Citizen watch, but the description kept calling it a CASIO, which the photo most clearly was NOT!!!!

This one arrived as a Timex, with all the functions working properly.

I think this will be a "town" watch along with my Citizen watches.

Love it and I second the creamy dial. Yours is very rare. Great find. Now I have to wear my Waterbury Chrono.

These Timex chronograph movements have a neat feature - jumping hours in the 2nd crown position. So it's good for switching to DST and other time zones (only full hours, though, so no travelling to Nepal and suchlike) and also foolproof - you can't damage the date wheel mechanism.

Yes, this is really cool! Much easier than pulling the crown out and then re-synchronizing!

Thank you! I changed the strap from an army green one the seller had on it to this one. I wanted it to be overall a light colored cool tones watch!
