The wrist shot was the brand new watch as it was yesterday when it was delivered. I've worn it since I opened the package and you can already see the patina beginning to form. I think it's probably the humid Alabama weather. It has dulled and darkened since yesterday. It also has these cool patterns forming on the case.

Oxidation at it's finest. When it goes green it's time to clean it.
Nice looking watch nonetheless!
Thank you! The patina is part of the appeal.
I love that the patina differs depending on what you are exposing it to. Very cool 👍
Thank you for allowing the natural process to occur naturally.
Absolutely! Not about to fake it.
I have a Christopher Ward bronze. If you want yours to look nearly new again, get a lime, cut it in half, and grind the cut side all over your watch. Pretend you're juicing the lime on your watch. It's amazing. Looks bright and nearly new after a couple minutes. Great party trick and my kid loves doing it! :-) ✨ And, in a couple of days, it's back looking dull and gritty.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip!
