Congrats, wear it in good health! I was on a waitlist with FP a couple of years ago, way before he presented at the GPHG. The agreement was that he was going to show me the moonphase and depending on the design it came out to be (at the time he didnt even have a prototype) I would buy either that or a customized model. He never came through with me and I didnt damand he fullfill the commitment once I realized he wanted a precious metal Vacheron money for the watch I would consider buying. I didnt really feel his Stern....mel designs which were n the more affordable +/- 5K range. And what came out of that moonphase was not what I envisioned for a moonphase place holder in my collection.

Ok wow sad to hear it didnt worked out for you. I ordered my watch in Oktober 2021, at his point he worked basically alone in his Appartement😅I got very Lucky and paid an Incredible Price (way waaaay to cheap). Today I would probebly pay like 15k for such a piece.

Not really... I'm not that much into those no name upstart guys - him, billard, etc. A youtuber or an online blogger covers them and all of a sudden they decide they can charge more than industry stalwarts. It's a gamble you take if they strike big or not. two, I generally prefer big historic maisons that have been doing it for a couple of hundred years, usually with uninterrupted history (so arnold and sons, czapek, moser, and the likes dont really get my juices going). Like I said I didnt really like the designs of stern....hel models... We spoke about 2 years ago and the moonphase wasnt ready to show yet. So I was also gambling in a sense. Then some watch purchase opportunities came up for models that I really liked and I never looked back. But it did leave a bad taste in my mouth that the guy didnt reach out and say, "yo Alex I have you on the list, are you buying something or should I offer your turn to someone else?"
