THE NEW SEASTAR 40MM AUTOMATIC

I never think I will be surprised by the the Watch industry big Sisters in Geneva. Guess what, it happened. Hmmm. Tissot has been out of mind for me for many years. I have always been drawn to the Sea Star. Nice dial design, case hand set easy to read, good movement reasonable price But always toooooo big in terms of case size. Well now they are listening to the buys...go figure and they made a 40mm case.

  • 40MM CASE

  • 300 METERS WATER RESISTANCE

  • 20MM LUGS

  • POWERMATIC 80 MOVEMENT

  • A NICE READ

  • TEXTURED DIAL A VERY NICE TOUCH

  • NICE FRAMED DATE WINDOW

  • THE CROWN SHOULD BE LARGER

  • VERY COMFORTABLE ON MY 7.25 WRIST

  • WELL BALANCE

  • NICE LUME

  • SURPRISINGLY A WELL DESIGNED STRAP AND BUCKLE

The price is $750 retail, a fair price for the specs and it is a Tissot. I am a huge Seiko fan, at this price point this Sea Star is as good or better than what Seiko offers at the same price.

Before all the Seiko fan boys get all up in arms remember I am one of you and we all know Seiko is pushing themselves up market it is nice to know there is something to fill the void stay well 💪😉

I'm glad they're releasing the Seastar in something other than HUGE or Tiny lol 😆.

Looks great!

I have a Seastar 1000 43mm and it definitely wears smaller than it actually is but 40mm is of course a great call
