Thoughts on this watch?
I wanted to get some feedback on this watch from all of you. I really like the look but trying to decide if it’s a good option.

It’s a winner. I have one of the previous versions with the manta rays and it’s great.
I had one for awhile, I really liked it but it was one I won in a raffle and I really had my eye set on another watch. I ended up selling it to fund the watch I had my eye on. I had no complaints and that dial is stunning in person.

It is worth it, you can tell it's a big step up from the average seiko. I first traded it up a friend for a mido since he really wanted it. The mido got sold to fund my formex essence.
I purchased one in february on a holiday... Now it just waits for the summer to come out from the watch box... looks amazing, dial, case, metal finishing and it's really comfy on my wrist...
They're good watches. Full MSRP on these is a touch high in my opinion though. Try shopping around for one that's 1,000 USD or less if you can.
I'm picking up the SPB299 next month too. The finishing on the MM200 models is quite a step up and closer to the top end prospex models. Its a beautiful watch, wears smaller than the actual size 42mm. Wears more like a 40mm on the wrist because of the beautiful case profile.
Get it from an AD so you will get a good discount on the watch.
That is an incredible watch. My only hesitation would be Seiko's reputation for poor quality control in their higher end watches. (bezel misalignment) so as long as you are able to see its a good one, id go for it.
