Love how on the parts picture can see (because you can barely see it) just how small the index jewel attached to the tuning fork really is. Pretty amazing to be able to engineer and produce these in volumes way back in 1960s. Love them. Love the mosquito hum too.
Really a cool watch. The 70's were good times to be a kid. I wish I had all the watches worn by all the grand daddy's and uncles and great uncles I was always around back then.

We have similar taste in straps! I love the Vario Bund straps! Once you have one of these little gems and get to experience the ultra smooth movement with that lovely hum your hooked!

Great colour combos there.
Tried a few other bunds - mostly awful quality - before biting the bullet with Vario. And definitely worth it.
Great too to have an option for some of those lovely vintage watches that are shading on the small side but the bund beefs them up a fraction.
Things I like: Warm Socks, Cold Cookies and Watches of all types, shapes, makes and sizes. However I do have a soft spot for watches from the 60's-70's Things I'm not fond of: Wet Socks, No Cookies an...

Dude, do you service your watches yourself? That's great. I've seen a video of a service of an accutron #bulova and it's really challenging.
This is mine. Similar case.
Another vintage beauty!

I have a friend/watchmaker who does all my watch work. He's a master! what drew me to him in the first place was the exploded movement pics he takes!
This one did give him a bit of trouble in getting it regulated. But it's so accurate and smooth now. I love watching the buttery smooth second hand!

Thanks Danilo, Gotta keep it fresh!
