On a real adventure, or on a modern day Instagram adventure?
Because on a real adventure it is always my Casio Mudmaster. I dont care how gada or 'sports' some of my watches are, I aint taking a sbge253 or a Pelagos 39 on my quad trails or rocky hikes. The state my Mudmaster is in is testament to that
Depends on the adventure. More water? Invicta Pro Diver. More vibration or impact? Casio digital.
Regardless, the two questions should be, 1) Will this watch perform up to the tasks required of it for this adventure, and 2) Can I accept that this watch could be lost or damaged beyond repair?
If yes to both questions, then there's the adventure watch. 👍
Minimum 100 meter water resistance. I will be taking my Longines Spirit Zulu Time to Yellowstone this summer as I have a hankering to use my GMT. Should be a solid field watch.
I wear my PRX when I go on adventures to the city.
I don’t backpack anymore, but when I did, I took one of my G-Shocks.

My trusty SPB143.
Definitely one of my two beaters. That’s why I keep them.

My GS GMT is a go to, pretty much indestructible.
Nice 🙂
