If you were old like me, you would remember the old Timex television commercials of the 60s and 70s. Their slogan was, "takes a licking and keeps on ticking." Besides changing a battery every couple of years, it will run forever. The only other issue you might have is scratches on the crystal since that's mineral and not sapphire, but a little poly watch rubbed on it will fix it right up. This is my first timex watch so I'm not sure how long it’s gonna last. (with the price it looks like an absolute steal).
