I was collecting watches back when I was a teenager. Then with moving and life changes I slowly lost all my watches. My love for watches re-emerged when I suddenly realised how much I hated my Apple Watch! I then restarted collecting. Over the past year I have a reasonable collection again. I don’t really have anyone to share them with or talk about them with so here I am…
Totally agree, I have a collection of mechanical as well and I still love them but as you say, for what this thing can track and all the data it can give you about yourself is quite amazing. I never wear a watch to bed but I have managed to do it with this as it’s super comfortable.
You know what I didn’t even notice that to be honest. Mine is not covered and I’m actually surprised they didn’t think of that. Where if you don’t me asking did you find that little plug?
I have a Casio G-Shock GBD-H2000 you can see it on my profile. I’m a big Casio fan. But their semi smart watches aren’t very good. The solar on that particular watch is rubbish and barely does anything. The garmin seem to do much better.
Oh wow that’s pretty much the same thing as mine isn’t it? I love these MIP displays. I know the oled ones looks fancy but they absolutely Annihilate the battery and I cannot put up with charging a watch every night.
Cheers man, I too am looking to see how long the battery will last. So far I’m really liking it. It’s a big boy but it does everything I need it to do. Hopefully I’ll get on with it on the long run.
