some news about the new product

In the past few days, I have received many suggestions from watch lovers. First of all, I am very grateful to everyone who can seriously find out the problem and make suggestions. One of them is about the city name. The abbreviation of some city names may seem strange. However, due to the influence of space and aesthetics of the bezel, it is necessary to make a trade-off.

And in the choice of the East Second District, whether it would be better to choose Cairo with a longer history. This is, without a doubt, a question that warrants contemplation.

Nothing against San Martin GMTs, but the algorithm needs some fine-tuning.

If I understand the question correctly you are asking if Cairo is better than Istanbul to mark the UTC+2 time zone?

I personally don't like using a world time bezel but I also think that Cairo would be a better choice because as far as I know Turkey is in the UTC+3 time zone.

I am also very confused about whether Istanbul is the second east district or the third east district. Most of the content I found on the Internet shows that it is the third east district, but in some time zones, the standard time of Istanbul on the Internet is the second east district.

One thing I would suggest is not to clone what everyone else is putting on these world timers. I recall an interaction I had with an Australian watch enthusiast who is seriously annoyed that Australia is always represented by Sydney - he is from Melbourne.

You put cities like San Antonio or Lahore on that thing, and all of a sudden watch enthusiasts from those places that never get a mention on most world timers appreciate the representation and some will get the watch just for that.

Very happy to see San Martin creating original designs and soliciting community feedback! I like the new SM logo, too!

Although Cairo and Istanbul are both globally significant cities, I would choose Istanbul as having slightly more relevance.
