Odd questn, but a non watch nerd would have a cell phone. They likely would not add another expense on telling time. So if they did its for a really good reason.
But only a certain kind of watch. Like a "sleep approved" watch :) needs are a great backlight so I can see late at night or on work trips in hotel rooms, also lightweight, resin, fairly flat so I can lay on it, etc.
