What are you getting yourself for Christmas?
Winter is coming and Christmas is ahead. I have just pulled the trigger on my Christmas present for myself.
Aeschbach made watches during the second world war. Although the layout is very much the same as the British "Dirty Dozen", these were issued to German troops.

I have a preorder on a Beaucroft Seeker in mint coming mid December. I am also tempted by the limited edition Orient Bambino coming out in December too. 😬
No new watch for Christmas mostly bc I save major purchases for milestones and the next big one is a Zenith Chronomaster Revival + the Farer moonphase I want isn’t available until spring. Got myself lots of straps during Black Friday sales and asked for some expensive watch books.

That said, I did get my wife a watch. A Gucci Timeless with a bespoke strap. I wouldn’t by a Gucci for myself, but she has a thing for their animal themed products . . . And I respect the customer service of the company overall.

I do own some vintage mechanical watches like hmt and Henry sandoz fils but this is my first automatic watch purchase, $50 for an automatic diver with fairly great reviews is a deal you can't miss :)

Last weekend, I was very, very tempted to buy a Nodus watch from their seconds vault, but I refrained. I am waiting for their GMT Contrail next year.
Already bought mine, which were the Seiko Sarb033, Seiko Goldfeather, and Orient Fineness Ultramatic. Early Christmas presents maybe, since I'll be busy spending time with my family on a vacation
Honestly when im ready to pull the trigger i will just buy it.
I dont need christmas or any other more special day to manipulate me and tell me otherwise.

Looks like I just bought myself a new Rolex 126505LN Daytona. 😅😆🙈💸💸💸 I’m done for the year. (Famous last words) 🙈😆😝 I thought my last watch of the year and my Christmas present to myself would be a “Bottle Green” Traska Venturer but that was quickly upstaged not even 48 hours later by my SA at Watches of Switzerland. The Traska is still stunning though-IMHO.
And here is the Daytona….I’m drooling 🤤🤤🤤
