Casioak Mod?

Is there any reason that this GA-2100SR-1A module & face couldn't be moved into this GA2100-7A case/strap? Beyond obviously my ability to not break connections & stuff.

I think that multi-color face would look amazing in the all whites.

 Does such a watch already exist that I cannot locate?

Thoughts?

I believe but Don’t quote me that it’s doable!?? Since it’s just a case. theres mod cases you can purchase and it’s just replacing the case and straps relatively easy to do…i YouTube it once and it think it simple and doable

I modded a square GShock without any trouble. Remove a few screws and the watch itself will pop right out of the rubber case surround and strap. Then you can just put it in the new one and replace the screws. I don’t want to get you in trouble, but it’s super easy. I assume you’d be buying 2 watches and swapping them?

That's the plan right now, but if I can just buy the white case/strap, that would possibly be less expensive.

Nothing I'm gaga over and they would cost about as much as the 2nd watch. 

I'm not dying to have one, just think it would be really cool. It's a next year project probably.

Dear Casio, if you are picking up what I'm putting down, I will put down to be picking up!

If Casio offered a white case/strap version, how seriously would you consider one? 

Me, I'd pre-purchase if it was made available direct from Casio.
