A 90-day Quartz 'Challenge'

A while ago, @hakki501 did a 90 day quartz accuracy challenge for his own edification.

I thought that was a good idea, but DST would interfere with it and American DST was less than 90 days away.

So tomorrow, I will be setting my quartz watches and running them for the 90 days to see which one is the accuracy or precision champion.

I'm not going to be testing my radio controlled watch since it adjusts nightly, so not really kosher in this challenge.

Any of my American friends or friends whose governments were smart enough to never adopt or stop observing DST feel like joining in?

As time goes on, I'm actually coming full circle and preferring quartz watches. Not that I'm disliking mechanical watches, no, not at all.

But just preferring the simplicity of picking up a watch, putting it on, and it telling me the right time.

Which is, after all, kind of the point... Right?

For some people, yes having the watch tell the time is the point.

Let's do it, my friend! I hope the Star Wars droid wins it. 🚀
