Question for all you sarb owners?

As we all know over the past 5-7 years seiko have been turning the screw a discontinuing they’re best value models. One of these models was the sarb. My question is how much would you pay for one today NOS or on the secondary market. Really interested to hear what you think.

I would pay noting over RRP. I have a SARB from years ago, it already needs a service. It runs 5 minutes slower than the actual time. I didn't want to pay the $200 to service it, so I wear other watches (For example: A GrandSeiko SBGX265 37mm, or a hamilton Khaki Field 38mm)

If you find a deal under $500, then it is not a bad deal. But there are certain SARB references which you cannot find even under $1000. The Salmon dial SARB037 and SARB011 are a few references which on the secondary market carries crazy prices.

I wouldn’t pay more than $600. It’s still hard to find a 38mm everyday watch that’s versatile enough to dress up, has a decent bracelet, 100m of water resistance and isn’t a microbrand.

True but man that’s a boring looking watch. Something about the Sarb just has more character.

More that it’s discontinued and it was one of the first crazy bang for buck everyday sports watches. It gained a cult following.

No it’s not that amazing but for $300 when it was released it was a great value and looked pretty good for the price.

Personal taste plays a huge roll in watches. I don’t like a lot of Omega designs but I can’t deny the quality and value.
