Watch for Father suggestions
My dad is one reason I love watches. I wanted to get him a new one that has a clear and easily readable dial. under $200. It would be for a Christmas gift(never too early to start). Any suggestions? mechanical would be nice. White dial maybe. Eyesight is getting bad and he can’t read the Timex he has. nothing too big though. Thank you

Vosok makes mechanical watches for under $200. There are some no-date ones with simple easy to read dials. I think a dark background with white numerals is easier on the eyes personally. Like this:

My first reaction for a sub $200 is always an Orient Mako, and I think it is still a good call for your father, even with bad eye site. It has big hands, bright lume, and solid value for the money.

They and Seiko are both owned, by, well Seiko. Long story, many threads on it. Lots of fans here and they make a solid dependable watch at an affordable price.

I recently got my grandfather a Casio duro. Lots of styles to chose from, plus it's a sturdy classy watch that won't break your wallet. Also is uncle buck rocking a Rolex?! Never noticed.
If sticking with Timex, this previous gen waterbury is worth looking at. White dial, 40mm, automatic, b/w contrast for easier legibility.
