This watch was my great grandfather’s watch. He gave it to his son, my father who passed last March, who gave it to his son. I will be getting this Hamilton “Thin-o-matic“ fully serviced and fitted. Then when it’s time I will give this to my son. It’s priceless to me and worth any amount to restore.

The best kind of watch to own.
Gladly it wasn’t held in a “prison wallet” for 15 years……
Isn't your great grandfathers son your grandfather?
This is a great story, and one of the things I love about watches. Generational. I got my Speedy on my sons' birthday for the express purpose of giving it to him when he's a bit older. I hope he will give it to his son or daughter....and so the story goes.
