Fidgeting with time

I’ve never gotten any of my 1963’s dialed in so good. We’ll see how long it holds…..

The mason jar full of ice latte is my second addiction/obsession. The grind, the precise heating, and pressure.

How’d you learn how to do this? How much does the machine cost?

Hey Richard, those numbers are exemplary, but are you sure about that Lift Angle? Is that an ST-19 series?

You can get them on Amazon for about $150.

As for what to do, there are lots of YouTube videos out there discussing regulating your movement. Get familiar with the procedure and try it yourself on a less-valuable piece first. It takes a gentle touch!

Yep they’re $125-$180 Amazon. A few parameters to learn and the willingness to screw up a watch or two learning.

I won't have any afraid to ask, what even are you doing there? 😳

I suspect it is to measure the accuracy of mechanical watches, but...

I heard the only downside to this is realizing just how bad some of your watches are off. I’m planning on getting one and adjusting my Seiko movements. I’ve got one watch that I know is like +60 seconds a day.

I was hoping demagnetizing it would help but that didn’t work.

The real question is: what espresso machine and grinder are you using? 👀
