Best watch box around $100?

Hello watch crunch fam!

As the same with many of you, I'm sure, I want a 'luxury' watch box to put all my impulsive, illogical yet absolutely necessary pieces of steel inside.

I've struggled to find a good watch box for around $100. The only cases that have caught my eye are ones that cost $500 but surely there are some good ones that are considerably cheaper?

Have you picked up any watch boxes that you think are good quality, look the part and don't cost as much as a decent watch?

Ideally with around 10-12 slots in 😛

Thanks!

Hello, sir, I don't remember who it was that suggested it, but another member pointed out presciently that watch boxes are evil.  Because any empty slots simply spur you on to buying more watches!  He simply had a leather desk pad, and laid out his watches on those.  I've gone with his solution...  though...  truth be told, it hasn't stopped me impulsively buying more watches!

The issue I have with cheap watch boxed, is the cushions are oftentimes just pressed paper. Not a fan of using low-grade sandpaper to house my watches. A good watch box will be a one-time purchase. I recommend not cheaping out.

I've got the exact same case. Don't have any plans to replace it in the immediate future.

Re-upping this thread since I find myself looking at other options. I currently have this one from Etsy. It looks nice enough but of course the quality isn't up there with Wolf or Analog/Shift etc. I keep wavering from a case that has a display, something that's softer, something that would allow me to grab and run from a burning house ha.

Just curious, have you ever bought any watches from Trendhim? I like the looks of the Fawler Orrin, but there's no mention of the brand here on WatchCrunch at all.

Sorry no. I haven’t browsed through Trendhims site except for their watch boxes.
