Unimatic U5S-A : Small head wears a huge crown.

Unimatic designs appeal to my taste but never sat well on my wrist no matter the model type. They all seemed to feel large and flat - even the U2 which was previously their smallest case size.

When I saw the 36mm specs and the case profile with down turned lugs, I knew the U5 would work for me. Yes, it wears well on my wrist AND is comfortable.

Biggest joy so far is the huge crown. I love its size compared to the small case. So easy to grip/use, too. This will be a strap monster as well.

Biggest gripe/criticism: NO lume.

Last but not least, this wears bigger than a 36mm or the very least has the wrist presence of 39mm.

I’ve been cautiously curious about the brand.

If you have any questions re: this model, I’ll try to answer them.

Those have excellent specs and can have lots of lume it looks like. I'm glad they went with the Sellita instead of the cheaper Japanese offerings. There is an American firm making a good automatic movement now also.
