I’m not a fan opinion pieces, especially those that tell me what I need or what I’m doing wrong. I’ll watch videos about new watches but that’s about it.
Any clickbait title that includes the words: Need, Must, Real, or True equals instant ignore and likely blocked channel from recommendation feed. Personally, I will not take any content from that channel seriously. Some may like that, but we’re already seeing a backlash on those type of lazy titles.
The homage one is interesting, but again, putting homage in quotes immediately insinuates there isn’t one, immediately turning off those who may think there is, whereas a title like “Let’s Talk Homages” leaves it open ended.
Thats just my take, I refuse to feed the algorithm for click bait nonsense, but hey it has worked so if all you want is clicks, cool. Journalistic integrity on the other hand, not so much.
I love those where the monotone voice of a watchmaker muses about how a movement was abused, or tries to service a ridiculous Chinese movement. While I'm genuinely interested, I'm also ready for bed after two videos of this kind.

I only view videos for reviews when researching watches to buy. I want to see it from all angles and get multiple perspectives.
