Suggest a Strap

My favorite watch is my NOMOS Ahoi Special Edition. It’s so easy to wear and the base Tangente dial design is basically my favorite. I love wearing the watch on the OEM dark blue nylon strap, but I’d like a good leather option for the winter.

That said, I have over a dozen different 18mm leather straps that look great with my two other 18mm lug width watches, but dont think I’ve found the right combo for this one, so I’m opening it up for suggestions. The Navy Pueblo strap from Delugs is pretty good, but it also doesn’t look that much different than the nylons strap at least from a color standpoint. So I’d like to figure out something a bit more interesting. Let me know what you think!

Something to match the seconds hand maybe?

Think it would look great on a light leather strap, something like this:

This one is from Hodinkee but could imagine others that are in this tone range - even can go a couple shades warmer.

It depends on your outfit, what you want to wear it with. But with blue dials creamy straps looks good. I can suggest you a Hirsch Nubuk one

But also check Delugs.com more, they have more amazing straps.

And also check all the range from Hirsch

I've recently seen a couple of dressier watches with "perlon straps", which looked pretty cool. I guess a dark blue or a gray could fit pretty well.

The original Ahoi models shipped on a dark blue/black perlon. They still sell that for the 40mm versions, but switched the stock strap to the blue/black nylon. Perlon is a fun strap material, but its more in line with the look/vibe of the stock strap for the watch.

how about something else that isn't seen so often like a leather nato strap:
