Looking for a Deep Black Dial under $1k

Can you guys recommend watches with a black dial that have a bracelet under $1000 new or preowned.

Looking for something versatile and interesting in the 38mm-42mm range.

Pre-owned Sinn 556i if you haggle a bit...

That Traska is a pretty solid choice for under $1000. Is there a reason you are not considering it?

Farer may have something worth considering.

The Traska is my first option so far but wanted to see if there is anything out there that I might not be aware of.

You should look at Venezianco, the specialize in a Vanta Black alternative well under $1K.

Gotcha! Its not under $1000 but in the future if you are able to check out the Longines Legend Diver. Best deep black dial I have had so far. Its the laquered finish on this that made me order the Traska in the white dial. For the price point you are looking at, I would also check out the Hamilton Khaki Expedition and maybe the Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot too. You can usually negotiate 20% off at ADs. Great movements for the price point!

CW Trident Pro 300, has an inky black dial option and comes in 38/40/42mm so you can have you’re pick. Also their bader bracelet is quite nice from my experience and has on the fly adjustment.

·

I bought my CW second hand in perfect condition for less than 1K

Here are some watches from Jomashop (NOS) that might interest you:

This CW (Trident Pro 300) is on my list in that very category.

And this Timex is certainly interesting but only if you can get it for the right price.

39 mm! Also, take a look at the Doxa Sub 200. Very good option under $1000!

·

Ocean Crawler does a really nice Ultra Black

Get the Traska you will not be disappointed!

I think I'm gonna save up a little and go for the Legend diver eventually. Thanks for all the recommendations!

That is an awesome choice! COSC movement and good looks its a great watch. If you have watches you’d be willing to trade out get in touch with Topper Jewelers. They can offer a discount on Longines too. No sales tax and shipping outside CA.

Will definitely do so. Thank you Lauren!
