There are quite a few sinn 556 options but I feel the only right answer is the Sinn 556 A RS

Yes all other sinn 556 models are unnecessary

No the whole sinn 555 collection rocks

I'm hoping this post is meant to be tongue-in-cheek. There are a LOT of people out there rocking the 556i or one of the other variants; they are quite popular. (At least, within the niche that the product family in general occupies, and knowing full well that Sinn isn't a household name in most parts.)

I would never want to see Sinn get rid of the 556i side of the family. That said.... I am currently wearing my 556A RS while I write this reply. It is definitely my favourite and the one I chose for myself. But again, calling the rest of the product line unnecessary feels unnecessarily adversarial!
