Praesidus Rec-Spec

It’s not for me but interesting and I’m sure there is wrist out there for it.

I like the watch minus the contrasting day

Great watch. The crown takes some getting used to and ,though it is hand windable, it's easier to use the good old Seiko shuffle to get it going, as was the case with the original. I've been wearing mine for 2 days now and it appears to be running a +6.5spd. Admirable for the NH movement. I opted for the gray dial with the brown leather strap. This might be a multi day honeymoon. Praesidus did a fantastic job on this re-creation of a Viet Nam era icon.

A very nice watch with a great history. Now that you've had it for awhile, what are your thoughts. I've got one coming soon, so I'm curious. Thanks, Matt

I love it, even with the tiny crown.

I can set the time and change the date but as stated before near impossible to get a good enough grip to wind. Maybe my fingers are too big.

Aside from that it's perfect.

Good deal! Thank you for the info. Looking forward to getting mine. I'm in the process of re-reading Maj. Plaster's books on MAC-V SOG to get a real appreciation for what those guys did.
