Old faithful is back on my wrist today. It's true, when I fall for a watch, I'm all in, as shown by my long-running stint exclusively with this one. I had to consciously remind myself to give some love to my other watches. Although, wearing my Grand Seiko’s recently reignited my appreciation for the brand, I'm delighted to have this trusty companion back with me. When it first unveiled I knew I liked as I’ve always been a fan of green (especially Rolex green), but I wasn’t totally sure of its Destro configuration at first. The more I see it, the more I can’t stop thinking about it. What a watch. Keep on wearing it with pride brother!

Thanks so much! I'm thrilled to hear my GMT Master II has won you over as it has me. Rolex's green is indeed irresistible, and I must say, the Destro configuration grew on me too. It's one of those designs that captures you the more you gaze at it. Rest assured, this watch will keep claiming pride of place on my wrist for the foreseeable future!
Using my GMT so much, I feel almost as if I forgot to take it with me whenever I don’t wear it. It creates a time blindspot for me. I can’t wait to get more. Maybe an SSK017 next 🤔…
I’ve also realized that my Pagani design version of your watch has become something of a daily driver and quasi-beater GMT for me. If it ever gets damaged, I can replace or repair them easily because of the massive parts economy around Rolex copies. The movement is affordable to fix or have replaced. If the insert shatters, I’d get me an excuse to try out a different one. And I can buy a GlideLock clasp and pop it on easily. Honestly, if I had known how much I would like it, I would have gotten one with an NH34 mov’t.
