How the other half live, when owning a high brand watch
Was talking to a customer today and noticed he was wearing a Richard Mille watch, on giving him compliments on said watch we got talking and he said he got it serviced recently by Richard Mille in London, when he gave them the watch he proceeded to leave and they pulled him back and said no way are you leaving without us getting you a cab. When I asked why he said because if anyone saw you entering the establishment with a watch you are prime mugging material so they are abliged to get you home safely. WTF is this world coming to?

Unfortunately I've heard and read many stories about London and getting robbed for high end watches SMH. Makes San Francisco look like a high security city.

It's funny cause my buddy had jury duty and where he had jury duty is located in one of the most sketchiest areas of the city but he wore his Rolex every day SMH I told him he was crazy!

I know that part of town. It’s super sketchy, but in a “oh look there is a person helping another person smoke crack and shoot dope at the same time” kind of way. Not in a “omg I’m getting robbed with a machete” kind of way. SF is used to ridiculous wealth disparity. Getting attacked doesn’t happen all that much.
Don’t leave a charging wire on the seat of your car though, someone will break in and steal it.

The funny thing is, he dresses normal, if you know what I mean, jeans, trainers and a cap to boot but yeah I know what you’re saying, crazy watch, crazy attire but a really nice guy.

Yep. Wear a ‘London’ watch - something fairly cheap, when in London, and save your favourites for when local (unless you live in London then you might be screwed).
