Just arrived! My Baltic Hermétique Tourer Green

I saw that a local watch store is carrying Baltic in their catalogue and they have this beauty in hand, so yeah, cool, I need a bling watch that have WR and can be dressed to the nines and said, why not!

Huzzah, after forgetting about it I got a message from the courier that he is on the way with a delivery. I was flabbergasted. Delivery? What delivery? Wasted 15 minutes checking my email and after some amateur sleuthing I came across the Baltic order. So yeah, went home to pick it up, and here we go.

Bought the bracelet too with the thought that it would be good to dress up the watch. Pity the store I bought it from was out of the beads of rice so I bought the flat link bracelet, and what do you know? It fits me nicely. Lucky me.

So far, so good with one major caveat. If you buy one, ready your watch winder. The recessed crown looks good but it's a bitch to wind the movement. I think I may have to borrow my sister's nail file to fix my ragged nails winding this biatch.

I'll wear it for a week or two before coming up for a review. Cheers, folks!

I really like this watch & have so far managed to resist buying the cream dial. It reminds me a lot of the Studio Underd0g model 2s which I also managed to resist buying.

My choice would be the flat link bracelet, I think you’ve picked a winner there 👍

Thank you. Truth be told, right now I'm just rolling my wrist every so often to admire the new aquisition. So thin, so light, so shiny! It does look dressy paired with the flat link bracelet, so yeah, win win for me. 🍻

Even better, it's super legible!

I don't buy French watches, but this is a beaut. Baltic makes some great looking watches

They do, but their straps and bracelet are so short. This has got to be the first time I wear a rubber strap with just two spare adjustment holes.

Thank you, thank you very much!

That is a great looking dial!

Also @Pallet_Fork mentioned these crown winder thingies off Amazon a few months ago, maybe they will help?

They have been a HUGE boon in winding some vintage Skindiver and a Vostok Dress watch I have.

Unfortunately not I think because the crown is recessed into the case. Wish they did it like Mido Commander Gradient with a big beefy crown tucked mostly under the case instead of it sinking into the case. Good against accidental pulls, a bitch to wind.

Yea.

Completely different watch, but my gold monstrosity aka Invicta Skull, suffered from the same thing.

Thought about pulling an Andy Warhol and not setting it when I wear it 😂.

Those are for removing the crown not winding it I believe.

Yup, but due to their nature, pick one big enough for the crown, and then lightly grip, and start winding.

Surprisingly enough works very well, especially on small or oddly placed crowns. Like vintage Wolbrook Skindivers and Vostok driver dialed retro dress watches.

OK I get what you mean now

This IMO is the best Baltic design since the Aqauscaphe. It's got dial depth with those applied.markers, oitstanding colorwys, and original design ques. What's not to like - at that price from a great French microbrand? Big fan - enjoy and wear it in good health!!

When they say recessed, they mean it.
