I think I made an oopsie....

Decided to put my Citizen on its bracelet for the rainy season when it's actually cool enough to wear it outdoors.

But.... I think I made an oopsie. The writing is supposed to be right side up when you turn your bracelet for a wrist roll, right?

But it's so comfortable though.... Meh, let future dugong solve this one the next time he put a watch on it's bracelet again.

Nah, just wear it the way you are comfortable with it

I wonder if my bracelets would be more comfortable backwards?

·

I think I know the reason now.

My bracelet boy (long-ish story) sized the bracelet by removing the links on the left side of the bracelet and when wearing it this way the head tends to slip into my wrist instead of having the tendency to hang to the outside of it.

Huh, guess I know my watch positioning preference now.

I frequently swap the clasp to the other direction. I find it more comfortable on certain bracelets.

We have all done it before at least once, you are not alone Amin. I always try to balance the the links evenly, but if I have to go to an odd number, I take it from the 6 o’clock side. All of our wrists are shaped differently, but I find that method works better for me.

I think I may follow your advice in this. Turns out I like my watch head to have a tendency to lean in instead of out where it makes my wrist bone aches fiercely at times.

It takes some experimenting and depends on the clasp of course. I once had a local GS AD watchmaker insist on taking all five links on the same side. Told him he was out of his mind if he thought that would sit comfortably on any wrist. He was just being lazy.

That makes it one of a kind and you surely able to spot it when someone steals it from you 😉

Luckily it's a Citizen. Now if it's a Seiko I might worry somewhat. With Citizen unless it's high end stuff and I don't leave it in the open like a fool I should be good.

Yup, done it before myself and when I sized my bracelet now I want the clasp to fall center and the watch lay comfortable on my wrist it’s a little bit of playing around with adjustments and it’s also can vary when you micro adjust … just play with it you’ll get the hang of it.. 🍻

I think you have just discovered you have abnormally shaped wrist. Hahaha kidding. I think you just need to move one link to the shorter side and swap back the orientation. I think I also see a half link too. Maybe move that too. Guess you just need to ‘Play’ with it a bit. Good luck mate.

At first glance it looks like a Breitling Superocean. I like it a lot

That model is on the top of my list to buy for a travel watch. How are you liking it?

Go for the comfort. Unless OCD kicks in.

It's nice. Relatively light weight so no problem wearing it for an extended time period.
