I'd take Omega over Rolex/Tudor almost every time, but if I'm actually using the watch as a tool, the bezel on the SMPs isn't the most functional thing. I'd actually take the Tudor BB out of these 3. For use as a true tool, I wouldn't actually pick any of these 3 if I had my choice. I'd go Seiko Willard, Sinn U50, or Tudor Pelagos. To me, those are 3 ultimate tool watch divers out right now.
Sub all day long. This was one of the first ever real tool watches and it still stands today. The only thing you have to get past nonsense and hate surrounding the brand. Strip that right back and you have a great watch.
P.s. hate the hand set and the actual name Tudor. People give Cristopher award stick for their name but I do not like that branding at all. And the Omega has a stupid helium valve that literally no one will ever use (including professional Saturation Divers)
Omega - seems to have stuck closest to it's tool roots with a modern design - aside from hands. Totally subjective, as Tudor is retro tool and arguably the most tooly.

The professional is a million miles away from the OG big triangle 300 the Navy used.
It is not your taste or preferences that turn a watch into a tool but its real functionality and certifications. The design of these three monsters has a logic and although it does not go with the tastes and prejudices of many, the three were born as tools and have certifications to be used as tools that could save your life. The use given to them or the decorations added to them do not change their certifications or the reasons for which they were created. Maybe I would go with the most affordable one, easy to pay for and get Tudor although I prefer the Pelagos Fxd Marine Nacional

Yep, if Omega put knurling on the flat edges of the bezel it would be great. As it stands it can get pretty hard to grip when wet although to be honest most dove watch bezels absolutely fall apart when wet when sunscreen is also involved
As a huge Seamaster fan, the Tudor is the only one that qualifies as a tool watch these days. The Omega and Rolex "graduated" into something else entirely a long time ago.

Omega. Because it's not a Rolex 😂and it's doesn't have that constipated hour hand of the Tudor
I could make this complicated…but yeah, what @GoQuartzYourself said 😂
Tudor - Toolwatch
Omega - Diver
Rolex - Rockstar
Omega all day , but I’m mildly obsessed lol
Omega, toughest because METAS & George Daniels 💪🏼💪🏼
To me the best tool watch is the one that looks great when it has scratches. Sub is my choice.
Of those, the Omega

Omega it’s the biggest and heaviest to use as a 🔨
Surely the Tudor, it’s the cheapest of the 3, therefor more likely to be used. Sub more jewellery now and not many use for diving.
SMP has an awful bezel feel, and worse under water but suspect people would use that more

Oh totally agree. I did caveat "with a modern design". 😁
Tudor - Toolwatch
Omega - Diver
Rolex - Rockstar
Pretty good analogy there👍
Seamaster.

No Date Sub for me 💪
I voted with my own money
Of the 3, probably the Omega. Personal choice would be the new U50 Hydro fully tegimented.
Roly...

The Tudor for me
Tudor - Toolwatch
Omega - Diver
Rolex - Rockstar
This
1st.Seiko King Turtle. 2nd Any G Shock.
Tudor 👍🏼
None 😀, I dont consider any of those to be a tool watch.
Tudor as a tool. The others are good but a little fancy to be a tool watch.
