Best aftermarket steel bracelet for Tudor watchess
I recently purchased a Black Bay Steel on the leather strap. I would've bought it on the bracelet, but because it's been discontinued, this was the on...
I'm in my 50's, my close-up vision has gotten worse in recent years and I work in a job where I'm always checking the time. Thus, legibility is a big issue for me. Most of my watches are tool watches and are very easy to read at a glance. The two best ones are probably my Speedmaster and Black Bay Steel (41mm.) Large black dials, white hands, easy to see minute markers.
The two WORST ones, at least in terms of contrast and reflection are a Hamilton Khaki Chrono and a G-Shock. They look pretty good in the photos, but in bad light, they are virtually (for me) unreadable.
I've seen those watches in person. They're really nice. I used to have one of the non-VHP Conquests. Good choice!
The VHP models are good for +/- 5 seconds per year. Amazing.
The bracelet, as I recall, has a "butterfly" clasp rather than a divers-style class, correct? I'm not a fan of butterfly clasps as they don't have the same level of adjustability as a diver-style clasp with the microadjustment holes. Still, the bracelet should come with different sized half-links, which gives you some options as to sizing.

Hmm. Tough question to answer. I've always worn watches, but I really got "into" watches around 2010. Bought and sold a bunch of nice affordables: multiple Citizen NY0040s, multiple Seiko SKXs, multiple Seiko 5s, a Smiths Everest, multiple Hamiltons, multiple Victorinoxes.
Probably the first "luxury" watch was a Tag Heuer Aquaracer. Quartz, Grande Date. Great watch. Have since moved on to other nice watches, but I have fond memories of that watch.
I have a Forstner Model O. Unfortunately, I don't have a watch on which to mount it. LOL.
I purchased a Black Bay Steel and it is supposed to arrive this week; because it was discontinued, the only model I could find was on the leather strap. I'm a bracelet guy, so I decided on the Model O. I'll post pictures after the watch arrives.
