My first experience with San Martin Watches and there is something that I really wanted about it

Image

Received this recently, and I am blown away with the quality that is assured by them. The 2023 Green Pouch is a premium improvement from the subpar, budget-friendly luggage packaging usually offered by older AliExpress brands such as Watchdives, Steeldive, Seestern, Thorn, Rdunae, and others. Naturally, aside from simply being well presented with the purchase you get, it speaks curiosity for others about whether this brand remains exceptional in today's context of watches. This one makes a true homage as it is the look I wanted.

This is my first timepiece with San Martin Watches, and it didn't disappoint me at all.

The reason why I desired this watch ...

As you may know, vintage military watches are my absolute passion. I currently lack the means to afford the Steve McQueen (Hanhart 417 ES 1954 39 mm) Watch, despite having a strong desire for it. (I wanted the look and feel!😍) However, I kept finding and researching it further, significantly I have discovered an alternative. Perhaps an exceptional and value for money homage that could fill me in.

Discovering more on it, I look through these 1950s design pilot watches that were based on the Type XX/Type 20s designs. Researched, the dial design template for this was originally created by Hanhart and Tutima specifically for the pilots of the Luftwaffe. Towards the end of World War II, several of these brands were handed over to the Allied forces. In 1954, the French military made a compelling demand for watches to be used for their air force. These templates were licensed and replicated to be commissioned by selective different brands such as Airain, Vixa, Dodane, Mathey-Tissot and Breguet.

Recently, I have it being complimented and recognized as if its a watch by Breguet.

Currently, nobody else has yet to give an opinion of how good this watch is. I would like to begin by discussing this particular watch or something relevant, as it holds significance for me.

If you want the look of the Mcqueen Hanhart and can't afford or find one currently, I recommend picking this one up as an alternative (maybe save up and get the real deal someday!)

Other than that, I would like to hear most from your thoughts on it and whether you believe it would be a good choice for you to acquire it or so.
