Casio Genesis, My First Limited Edition Digital Reissue ‘ROBOTRON’

Although my love for Casio has been unwavering since childhood, my first approach was with the F91W, a timepiece that has accompanied me through the years and carries with it a rich history.

I found that these limited edition beauties are probably on the hype and flying off the shelves like hotcakes, especially there are some flippers out there to be avoided.

It took me several weeks of waiting for a restocking after the initial batch, but I finally managed to act swiftly and place an order on the official website of my region. I never imagined that I would finally own my first limited edition of this vintage reissue; it makes it truly special and feels like a stroke of luck from a flip of a fountain coin.

About It Looks

I imagine donning on this and feeling like I've just stepped out of a sci-fi flick. With its inner and shinny fluted bezel and the alignment of the stripe marble dial digital display is an absolute beauty done to shine perfection. The character Dick Jones perfectly embodies the corrupt, opportunistic, fiercely competitive, and totally immoral individual who would be fitting for wearing this.

Talk about the latest modern day features, this Casiotron is like having a brutalist luxury piece of the futuristic marvel right on your sleeves. Having that corporate feeling like you're a staff of the OCP straight out of Robocop!

Fun fact. Once I connected Bluetooth to my phone, I had the opportunity to give it a name.. you know it.

Negatives.

The perceived lack of water resistance and absence of sapphire crystal due to cost concerns are common topics of discussion among users.

Additionally, my experience grappling with the pin and collar links on mine turned into a bit of a mess. It was my first time attempting to adjust it, and with my clumsy fingers, I had the burden to figure it out. Unfortunately, after I finished the adjustment, I ended up losing only one of the collars and left a pin. 🤦🏻 Just hope that I'll never touch one of these system links again..

To conclude, this timepiece not only reflects the brand's commitment to excellence but also adds a unique touch to my collection as to others that will cherish for years to come. As a proud owner of the limited edition Casio TRN-50, I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to experience it.

For now, i'm gonna keep it juiced up and wear it sometime. Stay tuned, as I might add - To conclude the Best of 6' in my collection👍

Thank you for reading and have a great day crunchies!

Peace out.😎✌

Hey man congrats and welcome to the 4000! If they're staggering the release of these in stages then it'll put the squeeze on scalpers. They also restocked over here too so that was nice to see. Pricey but it's a real stunner of a piece. Just don't let it turn you into a B-movie crime boss.

That's a fun one, since he is a crime boss I'm going to say he suits for the A1100B-1 (Black with Green LCD). He looks more sleek and so bad on this.
