Recommendations for skx013 jubilee bracelet?

I have a Long Island watch ISL-49 38mm diver that I really like, but the jubilee that I got from LIW is rough feeling. It’s a quality bracelet with solid links and all, but running your fingers over it, the edges and the center links feel rough/sharp. I even scratched my toddler when giving him a bath while wearing it (not the clasp, the bracelet links).

does anyone have recommendations for jubilee style bracelets for the skx013 that are smooth feeling and do not have sharp edges?

No personal experience here but Namokimods have a jubilee with seemingly good reviews. Might be worth a look...

I have the jubilee from Uncle Seiko for the Tudor. I just tried to cut myself with it, and no luck :). The clasp is a little sharp, but i don’t think it’s the same one on the Seiko bracelet. Here are some photos. also notice the end link does not protrude from the case, so that’s a bit nicer.

Also, the reason Mark started making long island watches, to begin with, is because his bread and butter business is the modding community, and Seiko discontinued the SKX. For this reason, he purposely made sure his watches were a perfect 1 to 1 match for SKX parts, so modding could continue.

He has this:
Seiko OEM Brushed Finish SKX007 Bracelet #44G1ZZG (22mm) (longislandwatch.com)

I would recommend contacting him and letting him know you scratched your toddler with the current bracelet and would like to see what it would cost to swap the one that came with it, with the Seiko OEM one.

That’s a good thought, I didn’t think about  looking at the seiko OEM bracelet. Also, I’ve heard that the oyster style bracelet from LIW is another, so I may just go with that. Marc is such a good guy and is  great to work with so I’d  like to support his shop if possible.

Seiko bracelets rattle a lot. And the jubilee has more parts than the oyster to be loose. If it does not see water try leather. Lighter and warmer looking with no rattles.
