It's my special day. And, as it's unlikely anyone else will be gifting me anything other than a card, I splurged a bit.

I have been wanting to learn what the San Martin rage was all about. The homage I chose was one of the older models, the SN0008-G.

This classic BB 58 homage has the specs, and honestly, the biggest attraction for me was its 11.5mm thickness.

I hope to write more about it once I get to know it better. Thus far, the domed crystal is very nice and the ar coating seems to be the best in my limited collection . The fit is.perfect after removing one link. That was an easy change with the supplied tools. I also note this was ordered on March 19th, and arrived yesterday in the Midwest of the states. 9 days from order to delivery is not bad.

A homage of a homage! Great looking watch, and let’s be fair, Tudor is just an expensive homage of Rolex back catalogue. You also don’t have to defend poor man’s Rolex banter!
