Numbers one and two. They both get similar amount of wear time. Each one has been worn over 21 days this year. Normally the Zelos is on the metal bracelet it came with but I really like the snakeskin strap. The lugs on the skx007 are slightly bent from an impact so strap changes are a pain and I typically leave it on the jubilee
It’s also easier to pop the crown and wait 20-30 seconds for time to catch up than to pop the crown, move up a minute and wait 20-30 seconds for time to catch up
My skx007 is the second most worn watch in my collection. On paper it’s vastly inferior to most of my collection by specs but I just keep wearing it on an Islander jubilee bracelet. They almost had a bit win with the updated Seiko 5 version but losing the screw down crown and diver certification really downgrades the new version in my mind
Any watch possible: Omega seamaster 300. Tough enough to survive, very accurate, Lume and Bezel will be extremely useful features, and if I’m there for years no battery to fail
From my actual collection: Zelos Mako v3 bronze hunter green. Reliable, tough, good lume and has a dive bezel. Relatively accurate
Great alternative: Seiko alpinist with the compass bezel
Welcome, I like your videos and I also have one of your jubilee bracelets on my skx007. Great bracelet with a few noticeable improvements over the jubilee made by Seiko. Thank you for all you do for the community
