Sparkly Vintage Pobeda Cal.ZIM 2602

Inspired by a post from @petra.petra , I bought a vintage Pobeda with the same case and movement (ZIM 2602). I can't quite nail the lighting for a good photo of the sparkly dial, but trust me, it's beautiful!

It is however too small for my wrist, so it will grace the hand of my fiancée.

It does need a good cleaning though, and I'll try to make it shine again.

That's an old Pobeda, and very nice! Hopefully your fiancée is not clumsy, since that movement has no shock protection!

I have a watch with those same beveled dial dots, and you're right about them catching the light! It fools the eye in thinking that they are gems.

I was thinking about the dial itself, it has some funny texture that under a certain angle bends the light in a way it starts to almost sparkle! You can kiiiiinda see it in the second photo, but that's nothing compared to what it looks like in person.

But you are right, the dial dots also shine beautifully!

P.S. Nice watch there! :D

Thanks! It's an homage watch to a Zeppelin.

I see what you're talking about, it's almost like the dial has a subtle metal flake paint job on it.

Prelepa je druže, u zdravlju nosila verenica, stvarno je nešto posebno ova zrnasta tekstura
