Monte Kristo Lazar 1/1 - Unique piece coming from Serbia

Duško Radmilo, a self taught watchmaker from Serbia, under his brand “Monte Kristo” , just finished and sold his first hand made watch “Lazar” which was sold for €10,000.

The watch is entirely hand made in Serbia, except from the movement which is Swiss. It took a year to make, and is made of bronze, with a leather bracelet that has another replacement version, so it can be combined, made of snakeskin, housed in a box next to the watch. The name itself came from the monk Lazar who made his first piece in 1404 in Moscow, on the order of Prince Vasilij. The same one can be found on Hilandar monastery, where he painted Church Slavonic numerals on the tower clock.
