🚨New Watch🚨
I got a new watch again. I was thinking that I don't have many pilot's watches. Well I have 2 before this one. A Hugo Boss Pilot Edition and a Armogan Instruments "Spirit of St Louis". I wanted something a little more true to a vintage Pilot watch look. I came acrossed this.
A Pégoud Premiére in Fumée Black. I really like the looks of this and all the specs were appealing. I pulled the trigger and am really happy with my purchase.
The way the textured dial looks with the art deco numerals, the cathedral hour and minute hands and the striped second hand. Completely amazing! Not to mention that the crystal is coated and that isn't listed in the specs.
What really sold me on this is the story behind it. Pégoud watches are made in homage to the WWI French aviator Adolphe Celestine Pégoud.
Adolphe was the first ace pilot of WWI. He was the first pilot to ever do a loop the loop. He was the first pilot to ever jump from a plane with a parachute. In WWI he was the first ace fighter pilot to take down 6 enemy planes. The irony of all that is he was finally taken out by a German fighter pilot. He taught this pilot how to fly. I have been collecting watches for a while now. I have so many watches that I wear a different one every day. Cheap to expensive, if I like how it looks I wear it.

Thanks for the information. It is a really nice watch. The Chinese are getting pretty damn good at making watches. They are getting harder to beat for quality at lower prices.
