Be warned that the Smiths is basically a unicorn. You’re better off deciding between the LORIER and CW. For the price of the CW, you can get the LORIER and another watch.

In Addition to this, may I ask where to buy those watches? Does one have experience with it. As far as I’m concerned smith’s doesn’t have an online presence where to buy, so I had to look at chrono24 or eBay and they’re going for around 600-800 Euros. I think that’s a bit too much, or what do you guys think?

I honestly say to forgo the smiths. If that’s a style you like, buy a Traska Summiteer 36. Same movement and better finished with better (reportedly) customer service. Smiths customer service is definitely lacking. You can read everywhere about it and my experience with them paved the way for me to discover Traska. Otherwise, LORIER and Traska each have their own website. I own a Lorier and love it. I have a Traska on pre-order. Also, I’d you’re dead set on a smiths style watch, spend the extra money and get a Nivada Grenchen Antarctic.

Thanks a lot for your recommendations. I guess I had the feeling already, that the Smith's ain't it. They have such a unique backstory and still they seem to not make the most of it.
The Nivada is a very hot piece. I might get into that one.

All are nice looking but I have been on a Christopher Ward kick of late thus my vote.
I strongly suspect you'll find the CW a nicer watch, but the price will reflect that as well.
I voted but it ultimately comes down to which one you really want and which one you'd actually wear 🍻
Lorier Falcon for the textured dial!

Have a nice day!
Based on your options I’d also have a look at the CW Dune
