1965 Longines Ultra-Chon

Finally got a new strap for my 1965 Longines Ultra-Chron. It's in great condition and keeps good time. I love vintage Longines. My Wife surprised me and bought this one for Christmas from my favourites list on Chrono 24. Unfortunately the strap it came on broke the next day. It was a cheap one and not original. So glad to finally give it some wrist time. It's an alligator leather strap from Barton's. Pretty happy with the quality for the money. I have a black calf leather strap from Longines coming which should be nice.

Congrats! That is a beautiful Ultra-Chron and it looks like it is in fantasic condition. Great find. The new strap looks perfect for the watch.

Vintage Longines love it! Yes that strap compliments that dial and case. Nice choice and great gift from the wife.

Interesting to see the location of the date ,I'd assumed it was a recent thing putting the date at at 4 o'clock

There's a fair few from the 60's on Chrono 24 with the date at 4. More so the ones with the same case shape as mine.
