Wrong spring bar length 🙄
One of the Barton straps I recently bought left me playing with it for an age trying to get it to fit before I finally realised it had the wrong size spring bar fitted 🙄 Doh!!!
It was one of the packs that came with both lengths and before I realised what was wrong I’d put the other sized (longer) strap on and thought that’ll do. However I did want to see what it was like with the standard length one, with the idea I’d take off one of the keepers too as I knew it would come up short. Hence a return to try to get it to click in. You guys with perfect eyesight will not understand (yet) the challenge some of us older guys have with close up work 😂 Once I’d got the magnifying glass out to support my reading glasses it become obvious as to the problem!
Obviously it went back - fortunately I got it from Amazon UK so I didn’t have to get it back to the States.
The new one arrived and is now fitted. Underneath I suppose it does look too short. Haven’t taken the one keeper off yet but I think it will look better without the long piece showing around upper side of my wrist. I’ll keep the keeper that has the cut out so it doesn’t slide at all.
This is the longer strap. I suppose it doesn’t look too bad but the shorter one stops that ‘bulge’ on the side.
