Dumb question for Watchmakers on here
I was looking at my pocket watch (cuz why not) and I noticed a number stamped under the balance wheel. I know often that will be the movement calibre but as you can see here in this example that clearly doesn't say 2609. What is this number for? Movement is a Raketa 2609.HA

I'm guessing serial number but that's a guess.
I have been all over the place looking for the answer. I believe that it is the signature of the factory. I know that Vostok put their symbol under the balance.
I second @OscarKlosoff's guess. Looks like a serial number for the mainplate to me.
