In my small collection, I have these two I like a lot, but wish I had different straps for them, particularly my HMT.
Previously the HMT had a faux alligator leather strap that looked great but felt plasticky and awful. The dial changes colour by angle but it's sort of an egg yolk/Pringles Cheddar yellow-orange.
Meanwhile, the Eddie Bauer's strap's not bad, but I just prefer the colour brown to be honest. And the buckle feels cheap.
I'm mainly looking for leather straps under $30, but would like to see any suggestions/other styles (NATO, bracelet, etc) .Maybe there's a more expensive one that I can find a similar looking, less pricey alternative, yk
I'm going to try my hand at making a strap out of some leather, but I really prefer brown > black & all I have ATM is black leather & no experience in leathercraft whatsoever 😂

Let your mind wander over at CNS to get some ideas. They don't cost much and are usually pretty good quality (some of the leather ones are hit or miss). I think that the HMT would look good on a black NATO with an orange stripe.
Would recommend to go for some German producers like Rios1931, Fluco, Eulit or Hirsch (from Austria).
For the Eddie Bower: a tropic rubber strap with the design rolled at the lug edge (as opposed to a hard cross section cut)... you can get tropics all day at that price, but the ones with the rolled edge at the lug I've bought are a bit more pricey from Joseph Bonnie Ecom store
